Aloha & Co. Studios was created by Maui photographer Rodrigo Moraes as an extension of his long-standing passion for storytelling through imagery. After years of photographing hundreds of families across the islands, Rodrigo dreamed of creating a collective — a way to share his signature warmth, tones, and artistic editing style with more families visiting Maui. That vision became Aloha & Co. Studio — a curated team of associate photographers personally trained by Rodrigo, with every gallery hand-edited by him to ensure consistency, artistry, and that signature Maui glow.

Born in Brazil and based in Maui for over two decades, Rodrigo brings an easygoing island energy and deep appreciation for connection to every project. He’s known for creating relaxed, natural sessions that let real moments unfold — always with an artist’s eye for light, emotion, and story. Beyond leading Aloha & Co. Studios, Rodrigo continues to personally photograph large weddings, elopements, families and couples through his main brand, Rodrigo Moraes Photography. When he’s not editing or shooting at golden hour, you’ll find him surfing, spinning house music as DJ Radio, or exploring the island with his kids and dogs.

Our Philosophy
I highly recommend Rodrigo and his photography! He shot our elopement ceremony on Maui and we couldn’t be happier with the work that he did. Not only did the photos turn out beautifully, but working with him was such a pleasure.
